About Ken (the handsome one with glasses)

I'm a two-career guy.  My first career was working in the children's entertainment and education industries for companies like Disney Online and Rabbit Ears Productions, where I produced over 30 half-hour shows that were on Showtime, PBS, video, audio, and books on tape.  I decided then to go for the big bucks and switched to teaching history in an inner-city high school (where I met Cliff).  I retired in 2022 and now play golf and make podcasts. I have three awesome kids and I've been married to my best friend for over 37 years.  Dogs Rule!

About Cliff (the agitated guy)
I'm also - kinda, sort of, but not really - a two-career guy. After spending 16 years teaching rhetoric, composition, and English literature at a bunch  of universities, the ever increasing adjunctification of higher education forced me to hang up my tweed blazer with patches at the elbows and become a high school history/English teacher. My articles, essays, and short stories have appeared in a bunch of places and I've presented at a bunch of conferences.  Unlike Ken, I will not pander to our canine audience, no matter how cute they all might be.

We are two high school history teachers and pals who are also podcasters. We previously produced an 82 episode series called Yearview Mirror which profiled the history and pop culture of each year in post-WWII history. Our current project is called Classic Rock Talk, a 24 episode series which profiles the evolution of classic rock. If you like what you hear, make sure to tell your friends and family. If you don't, then take a hike.
