About Ken (the handsome one with glasses)

I'm a two-career guy.  My first career was working in the children's entertainment and education industries for companies like Disney Online and Rabbit Ears Productions, where I produced over 30 half-hour shows that were on Showtime, PBS, video, audio, and books on tape.  I decided then to go for the big bucks and switched to teaching history in an inner-city high school (where I met Cliff).  I retired in 2022 and now play golf and make podcasts. I have three awesome kids and I've been married to my best friend for over 37 years.  Dogs Rule!

About Cliff (the agitated guy)
Before becoming a high school history/English/film teacher, I spent years wearing a tweed blazer with patches at the elbow teaching college freshmen how to write. Pop music served as the foundation of my pedagogy, as well as the subject of my own research and writing. I’ve got a rock star wife, a kickass son, and three of the best furr babies in the business. My band Soupkitchen has been on double secret hiatus since 2001. I aspire to become one of those old guys who eats breakfast every day at the local diner.

We are two high school history teachers and pals who are also podcasters. We previously produced an 82 episode series called Yearview Mirror which profiled the history and pop culture of each year in post-WWII history. Our current project is called Classic Rock Talk, a 25 episode series which profiles the evolution of classic rock. If you like what you hear, make sure to tell your friends and family.
